I wanted a handelbar mount for my Garmin n265W GPS that i could take off my motorcycle when I was not using it. This product fits the bill. I am happy with its performance so far and have used it many times. It feels a bit light duty but to this point has performed like a champ even on rough bouncy conditions. Great for Bike, Motorcycle, scooter any application where you need to strap it to a Bar. Would recommend to a friend, (in fact i already have)

I have only used the Nuvi motorcycle mount once - on a 2 hour ride, but it performed very well. I have a Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide and the handle bar diameter is too large for other mounts I have tried. Being a Harley, my bike has a good bit of vibration, but the mount stayed in place.

I have tried this mount on my mountain bike just once. So far, the mount works great. It holds the GPS unit in place even on a bumpy ride. Hopefully, it'll work that way consistently.

I use this on my Triumph America with a Nuvi 250W on one inch bars and it has never let me down.
It stays right where I put it at any speed and road condition.
As far as quality goes I have no idea how people manage to break these things while putting them on, the plastic is thick and sturdy and the rubber is tough.
If you install it upside-down or fail to clean the area from dust, oil or wax it may slip, otherwise it has never moved for me and Ive had it for two months.
If you know how a band-type oil filter wrench works, you will quickly figure out which way to install this on your handlebars.
In one direction it has a tendency to slip, in the other direction it grips tighter as downward force is applied, thats how you want to install it.
And for the price, if it ever did break I would get two more, but I dont see that happening anytime soon.

I was surprised at how well this works for the price. I was looking at products that cost 3-4 times as much, but this is great. The pivot ball locks into place which is great because of vibrations and wind. The strap is secure and is very easy to install/remove. This is nice so that when you are not using the product it can be stored to keep the motorcycle clean looking and not cluttered. I highly recommend this for Garmin devices.
